Filing an intellectual property claim

The IP Claim Form is available for rights holders who believe their intellectual property is being infringed on Spring.

By submitting an IP claim, you are stating under penalty of perjury that:

• You own the rights to the intellectual property in question (or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner), and

• You have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized.

Submitting a false or fraudulent claim may result in legal consequences.

All IP claims must be submitted through our Notice and Takedown Report Form to be processed.

What Happens After You Submit a Claim?

• Your claim may be forwarded directly to the alleged infringer.

• The alleged infringer may submit a counter-notice.

• We aim to review and respond to IP claims and counterclaims within 1–2 business days.

• You will be notified once a determination has been made.

Required Information

Your IP claim must include the following:

1. Signature

An electronic or physical signature of:

• The intellectual property owner, or

• A person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf

2. Description of the Infringed Work

A clear description of the intellectual property you believe has been infringed.

3. URLs of Infringing Content

Direct URLs where the allegedly infringing content appears on Spring.

URLs should follow this format: https://teespring.com/[campaign]

4. Your Contact Information

• Full legal name

• Mailing address

• Telephone number

• Email address

5. Creation Details

• The date you first created the work

• The date and manner in which you first made the work public or used it in commerce

6. Good Faith Statement

A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by:

• The rights holder

• The rights holder’s agent

• The law

7. Perjury Statement

A statement made under penalty of perjury confirming that:

• The information provided is accurate, and

• You are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner

8. Supporting Documentation

Include documentation that establishes your ownership, such as:

• A copy of the original work

• Proof of creation date

• Proof of first public use or commercial use

• Trademark or copyright registration documentation

• Any other relevant supporting materials
